Anna Kessler joined the Federal Community Defender Office as a Research and Writing Attorney in 2018. Prior to joining the office, Ms. Kessler clerked for the Honorable Timothy R. Rice of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Honorable Juan R. Sánchez of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Ms. Kessler received her J.D., cum laude, from Temple University Beasley School of Law, where she was a Rubin Presser Public Interest Law Scholar and a Temple Law Review editor, and a B.A., cum laude, in American Studies from Barnard College, Columbia University.
