Jennifer Chiccarino is the Assistant Chief of the Capital Habeas Unit of the Community Federal Defender Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Ms. Chiccarino represents clients in capital post-conviction proceedings. In addition to supervising the daily legal and administrative operations of the unit, Ms. Chiccarino maintains her own caseload.

Prior to joining the Capital Habeas Unit in 2008, Ms. Chiccarino spent six years as a trial attorney with the Defender Association of Philadelphia. Upon graduating from law school, she clerked for the Honorable Richard B. Klein in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and the Superior Court of Pennsylvania. Ms. Chiccarino is a 2001 graduate of the Villanova University School of Law. Ms. Chiccarino is admitted to practice law in the Supreme Court of the United States, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
