Jennifer H. has been an attorney with our federal office for over 20 years. Initially Jennifer was hired as an Attorney Advisor to Maureen Rowley when Maureen was the Chief Federal Defender. In her capacity as Attorney Advisor, in addition to conducting legal research and writing, Jennifer consulted to the CFD on matters including employment law and HR issues, updates to our personnel policy manual, and telework policies to name a few. She then began to take on more R&W assignments and also assisted in overseeing assignments to the other R&Ws. She later took on the role of overseeing the CJA training seminars; assisting the CFD with duties related to the CJA selection committee; and overseeing our law internship program. With her deep commitment to our work and vast experience in the office, we have no doubt that Jennifer will serve well as the Assistant Chief of the Trial Unit.
