Michael McCrossen joined the Federal Community Defender Office Trial Unit after over five years as a trial lawyer at the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender in Camden, NJ, where he represented individuals accused of a wide range of serious crimes including murder, robbery, kidnapping, domestic violence, firearm offenses and drug charges in New Jersey Superior Court. Prior to that, Michael was in private practice in Miami, where he represented people accused of crimes in Florida state and Federal court. He began his career at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office. Michael graduated from Temple University in 2003 with a degree in Elementary and Special Education, and after brief time as a Philadelphia public school teacher, earned his J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2007.
